Daran Wilson / Director of Medical Surgical Services Telemetry Unit

Daran joined Summit Healthcare in December of 2009 as the Director of the Med Surg Telemetry Unit.  After spending the last 30 +  summers vacationing in the White Mountains, she and her husband Mark, a retired Tucson Police Officer decided to relocate to the area they love.

 

Daran graduated with her BSN from the University of Arizona. Bear Down Wildcats! She was an Emergency Department charge nurse at University Medical Center Tucson from 1976- 2000. She also worked concurrently as a charge nurse at Northwest Medical Center ED  Tucson from 1987-1991. From 2000-2009 she was the Urgent Care NCL then the Clinic Director at the Northwest Medical Center’s Rancho Vistoso Outpatient Clinic where she was responsible for the day to day functions of Urgent Care, Lab, Imaging, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Ambulatory Services including IV Therapy and a rotating specialty physician clinic.

Daran is very happy to be living in the White Mtns where she enjoys hiking with her friends, fishing with her husband and looking forward to visits from her grandsons who love coming to Grandma’s house!
