In Episode 85, I chat with Sean Coleran. He is a husband and father of one. Sean has the motto of "Improvement over Perfection", so it is no surprises he runs a podcast called Dad Improvement. Sean is a return guest to the podcast, you can check out his first episode by heading back to Episode 66.
In today's episode we dive into Sean's experience of strength coaching as he chased a major goal of his - the 405lb Deadlift. We discuss why he was interested in coaching, including his previous experience with more generic program templates and the benefits and drawbacks to those. Our conversation then shifts to his experience of coaching and the path to knocking off a goal he had had for years. I love seeing people hit their goals, so it was great to get to chat to Sean about his experiences.
I hope you enjoy the episode!

In this solo episode I also dive a little deeper into some of my thoughts around inversion thinking and how we can use chasing goals to set examples for our kids.
