As we come off of a profoundly raw episode discussing marriage and divorce on the Prolific Podcast with our friend Thang Pham, we feel it necessary to begin to spend more intentional time discussing marriage and the biblical instructions we receive in order to have marriages that please Jesus.
Today we begin to discuss a verse that doesn't have to be controversial, but sometimes can cause a rub amongst believers and unbelievers alike.
1 Peter 3:7 is a charge to husbands for correct treatment of their partners in the inheritance of God's promises; their wives.
Peter goes as far as to say that the communication between men and God can and will be hindered if their treatment towards their wives doesn't resemble the instruction of the Lord.
Let's begin this conversation and dig in for a while so we can fight for our marriages.
