<p>I implored Stroud District Council to investigate far better alternatives. Mastodon for example. Federated networks of safer places, without adverts, algorithms or outrage; and I implore council to fully explore these alternatives, especially to help councillors, and indeed, residents who have no wish to engage with US Big Tech.</p>
