Today I talk about changing wardrobes, and unpacking boxes - why ?
Because I am sharing what is going on in my life. How my dyslexia affects getting things done. How our brains naturally see the big picture, and everything that needs to be completed, or finished - and that ability is such a talent.
BUT it can also mean we get completely overwhelmed by not knowing where to start.
Often for our dyslexic minds, starting can be one of the hardest parts, as we just don’t know which action/task or piece to tackle first.
The thought of this creates such confusion or overwhelm that often we then put off or avoid.
This is a trait of both dyslexia and ADD and crosses over into both conditions.
