Izzy Tremonte is a PhD student in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education at the University of Toronto. With over 5 years of experience as a powerlifter, she combines her personal insights with academic research to explore the psychological aspects of body image and well-being in athletes. Her work aims to bridge the gap between physical performance and mental health, particularly in weight class sports.
