Struktur Event 2017, Session 9: Wearable Technology Panel w/ Julianne Gauron, Design and Innovation Leader
In 2017, Struktur Event held it's largest 3-day creative conference to date. The event was located at the Left Bank Annex in Portland, Oregon, and hosted an impressive array of speakers across the industries in outdoor and performance design, research, sustainability, business, technology, team building and more. This is the first time the audio-only recordings of the speaker sessions have been released.
This panel discussion is led by design and innovation leader, Julianne Gauron. Panelists include Elizabeth LeMay of Studio 317, Emily Walzer of Textile Insight, and Stephen Kerns, President of Schoeller Textil USA.
Julianne is a creative problem solver who views technology as a means of connecting us to and accessing our bodies more deeply.She currently consults with fashion, technology, and sports apparel clients on novel body designs, and has contributed to design and technology work over the past two years at Manufacture New York, and holds a position as Creative Advisor of Descience.
