The Midwest has always been considered a "stable" area when it comes to climate and climate change.  Predictable is an even better word to describe our four seasons.  Anchored by the Great Lakes, we have a reliable water source that is perfect for agriculture, industry and population growth.   

But even here, we are starting to see what the change in the climate is doing.  And we are starting to be affected by the parts of the country that are getting climate change faster and stronger.  Anyone who marveled at the beautiful red sunsets last summer know full well that they were caused by the fires out West.  

However, it is the little things that also weigh in on climate change.  Marty talks about two of those little things that signal that things are going to get a lot worse before they get better.
