Even though the early lives of these two saints remains a mystery we owe the story of their great faith and martyrdom to their executioner. Marcellinus, a priest, and Peter, an exorcist, were imprisoned together with many others during the reign of Diocletian. Their powerful witness strengthened many prisoners in their convictions so much so that their fate was sealed faster than normal and they were executed together in a forest.
