Do you have a tendency to put conditions on your relationship with God? Like, “God, IF you do ____, THEN I will ____”? 

When you find yourself taking on that mindset at a low point or at a crossroads in your faith journey, remind yourself of these promises of God from the Bible:

• I will give you… the new heaven and earth (Isaiah 65:17).

• I will be with you… always until the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20)

• I will keep you… from stumbling and falling away (Jude 1:24)

• I will bring you back…. after you have suffered a little while in this life, you will be restored, confirmed, strengthened, and establish you (1 Peter 5:10)

• I will not leave you… or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5)

• I will do what I promise… he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6)

God has already proven himself faithful to you. His love for you is unconditional, so stop putting conditions on your faith in God.
