Traditions are a fun way to celebrate certain occasions and events. Families and friends love to get together and enjoy a variety of traditions. However, religious tradition that takes away from or overrides God's Word is not something we should participate in. This is exactly what the Pharisees of Jesus' time did. They put burdens on people's backs that they could not hold up under. Let's let the Word of God be our guide and our ultimate authority and reject any tradition or teaching that opposes or contradicts it.
