Student mental health is an area schools are focusing on more resources than in past years.  MS and HS counselors Jackie Valenzuela and Colleen Coady share their thoughts and ideas about students today.  Enjoy some insightful thoughts on the state of student health today and possible causes for the changes in recent years.

 

Colleen Coady has been in education for 25 years. As a school counselor, one of her main interests is supporting students and families with mental health issues. She is an MS counselor at ISB.

Jackie Valenzuela is an HS counselor at ISB.  Prior to this, she was a mental health counselor in private practice working specifically with adolescents.
