In the first instalment of this two-part episode, TCS podcaster Helena Kondak speaks to representatives from Cambridge's major political societies: CUCA, CULC and CULA. This episode explores how current Cambridge students relate to British politics, how political societies offer opportunities for debate that differ from the Cambridge Union, and how each society aligns itself with its respective political party. The guests then discuss pressing political issues which directly affect students, most notably the housing crisis and university tuition fees.
