Promises have been made to students that no one will be left behind as the government tries to “save the academic year”. For the students of Fort Hare, they say that they are being left: students have organized marches to the Alice and East London campuses to get answers from university management. The memorandum handed over to management outlines major challenges facing students includes online learning and the return to campuses under level three of the lockdown.
