Students are to be at a significant disadvantage in the fight for third level places as grade inflation ends.
That's according to Waterford teacher, Katie Chance.
Thousands of students since 2020 who either received a predicted grade, or who benefitted from grade inflation are now back in the system.
This means at least 6,000 additional applications are now in the system for this year.
