Kohyn Van Komen Kohyn was nominated by Gregg Cefalo, who taught Kohyn in both AP physics and astronomy. Cefalo said Kohyn “is a great student” who exemplifies the “hard work” aspect of the school’s H.I.V.E. characteristics. Because of Kohyn’s dedicated work ethic, Cefalo said he was able to help him with what was supposed to be homework.
