Right after UCLA returned to in-person classes yesterday, a former philosophy lecturer named Matthew Harris sent threatening emails to a number of philosophy students and faculty, including a mention of a mass shooting.

As a response, the university chose to return to remote learning until the threat was investigated and controlled.
