Most people if wrongly imprisoned would understandably be consumed with the injustice of the situation. Not the Apostle Paul.
As Paul writes this letter from his prison cell in Rome (about AD 60) he is more concerned about the recipients of his letter than his own predicament. Paradoxically he seems joyous as he sees new opportunities for the spread of the gospel.
This series will deal with practical issues within the church at Philippi while Paul extols the virtues of the Lord Jesus and in spite of his situation is still able to say 'For me to live is Christ and to die is gain' Ph 2:21
