A pre-show panel discussion inspired by Tanika Gupta’s new adaptation of Ibsen’s A Doll’s House.
Host Fiona Mountford is joined joined by playwright Tanika Gupta, director Rachel O’Riordan, political journalist and presenter of Radio 4’s Any Answers Anita Anand, and Professor of Postcolonial and Decolonial Studies at the University of Sussex, Gurminder K Bhambra.
Fiona Mountford was theatre critic at the Evening Standard for 17 years. As well as writing (many thousands of) reviews, she wrote feature interviews, talking to almost all of London’s leading theatre makers.
Panellists:
Anita Anand is a political journalist who has presented television and radio programmes on the BBC for twenty years.
Gurminder K Bhambra is Professor of Postcolonial and Decolonial Studies in the School of Global Studies, University of Sussex.
Tanika Gupta has written over 20 stage plays over the last 20 years that have been produced in major theatres across the UK and has written extensively for BBC Radio drama.
