Everyone, welcome back to motivational mindset by Nick, awesome. The most cool podcast ever. You guys already heard the intro. So I'm sure you guys are feeling great. Make sure in the description and check out my website, there is a podcast link there, of course, my book is their 2020 motivation for the sake of it, and also my music, along with many more things. I have so much stuff on that website. I don't even know what's there anymore, guys. I've been working my butt off in 2020 to make 2021 an even greater year. And tonight, I just want to go over some questions I have want to answer for you guys. I know there's some questions that were on online. So I want to go ahead and start this. So I want to go over study habits. What are some good study habits? In your opinion, this question was posed and this is coming from someone who's taken a lot of tests, it's definitely something I have done is taken a whole lot of tests. And what my recommendation be to you is to make sure that you are using study techniques, and just not studying by the means of reading the material, you need to be able to recall the material. This is active learning or enter active learning. find as many ways to be as efficient as possible when it comes to studying recall is the best way to do this, then also try to explain it verbally. This will be the most efficient way to study in one session. Keep your session short, if possible. The reason I say this is your mind will be very alert and you will not feel overwhelmed. But don't make it no longer than 25 minutes, you can take a five minute break and get right back to it for another 25 minutes. I don't recommend that you go over that so that you keep your energy levels up. Those brakes are important because they allow your mind to process the information and encode it. Now, when studying, you also need to make sure that you're able to explain the topic or the question or do the problem without looking at the material. So do the question, and then check immediately what the material is compared to what you are getting back verbally. Next, try your best to use Spaced Repetition Spaced Repetition is studying over time. And there are many apps out there that can help you with spaced repetition and make it easier for you to study. And you'll spend less time studying by using this study technique. Using acronyms where possible. acronyms are one of the best memory techniques that you can utilize today. To become smarter at memorizing lists. Just think of a word in your head and use that acronym for the beginning letter. And then you have a list.
