While remarkable progress has been made in the fight against breast cancer, not everyone is benefiting from the improvements in survival rates. African American women have a 23% lower five year survival rate than their white counterparts. Why the difference? Research shows physical exercise can play a vital role in improving the lives of breast cancer patients.
