I hate this stupid productivity tip...

I hate it because it works.

But it’s a little more complex than that.

I keep coming back to it over and over again, because people keep recommending it to me.

And it always happens the same way.

First, I resist it, because I hate the idea of it.

Then I try it, because I have things I need to get done.

Then I love it, because it works.

Then even though it works, I eventually stop using it.

Until I feel the drive to be more productive and I’m reminded of this powerful productivity tip yet again.
