Over the years, there's one thing I found has helped me tremendously in improving my overall confidence, that is the ability to show up despite failures. I have been doing it for years since I was young without even realizing the benefits of such simple (yet difficult) act.

Growing up, I was constantly made to feel like I wasn't valuable. All my life I was seeking ways to make myself feel worthy and enough but slowly realizing through trials, pain and tribulations, that I have always been valuable and enough.

Learning how to regulate my emotions was an important key to my mental health and my over all confidence. Strong emotional regulation skills can enhance long-term wellbeing, improve performance at work, enrich personal relationships, and even lead to better overall health. But it can be intense when you start out and you have gotten used to suppressing your emotions for a long time. Music is the perfect bridge to "intentionally" guide you through the process.
