Then, we bounce back across the Atlantic and recap the Premier League's midweek action which saw Spurs take a hit while North London rivals Arsenal continue to creep towards the European places. We also discuss the relegation six-pointer at the AMEX, Man United's shocking loss to last-place Sheffield, and Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea bow. 

Later, we bounce around the globe to cover a fiery Milan derby which ended with Lukaku's side smiling, a potentially decisive weekend for the race of challengers to Ajax in the Netherlands, and a massive week for the Champions League hopefuls in the Bundesliga. We also wonder whether Lille & Lyon can continue to challenge Pochettino's PSG, debate whether the Brazilian title is Inter's to lose, and assess the varying states of panic at Mexico's biggest football clubs. Regrettably, we also forget poor Carlos Gonzalez's last name for the third week running before closing the show by reviewing the recently-confirmed card for UFC 259 which sees three title fights including a big test for pound-for-pound star Israel Adesanya.
