In this very special episode of the trinity ability co_op podcast, the host (@har23) sits down with the 2 candidates in the students union welfare officer campaign. Dylan is a 3rd-year Environmental Science Student from Colorado. Sierra is a final-year law and politics student, also from America. Both candidates have a wealth of experience with the students union, particularly the welfare committee. I asked them all about why they're running, questioned their manifesto, and asked why theyre best suited to be education officer.
The Ability co_op is one of the largest student activism groups in the country, promoting awareness and advocating for policy changes to make trinity campus an inclusive environment for students with disabilities. despite only being established in the summer of 2020, we have already secured thousands in funding to support our projects, which include a short film we're producing, this podcast you're listening to, a training program we'll be rolling across the college, country, and potentially internationally, and more. we're always looking for people to help out wherever they can, whether it be graphic design, social media management, videography, writing, and so much more, so if you're interested in getting involved reach out to us.
