Joel West leads the creative partnership and soon-to-be label at groundwerkvancouver.com. Groundwerk organizes monthly meet-ups for electronic music producers in Vancouver, Canada.

Recently Joel has opened for Kevin & Dantiez Saunderson at MIA, and played B2B with The GOAT opening for Dave Angel at Gorg-O-Mish. In July 2016 Joel moderated Groundwerk's panel talk on creating and sustaining electronic music communities at Bass Coast festival.

Joel is also an actor and improvisor who loves coffee and cats.
