Born and raised in Montreal,Canada, F5(Frank V.) was exposed to music at a very young age through his family as they would perform at family events or personal gatherings. At the round age of 8 years you would often see him dance at his aunt's diner when visiting, often asking his cousin to put his favorite song on the jukebox, at that time "Take On Me" by A-Ha being the track of choice.   

   The energy of the 80's clearly had a positive musical effect on this young lad, with this in mind his parents bought him his first keyboard to allow more musical creativity to flow, it wasn't long after he wanted a set of drums, and at the age of 15, after promising and following through with good grades he got his first set. This boy had rhythm, the beat was clearly coursing through his veins, music was a part of him, it didn't matter the genre, it was at this time he became transfixed watching old school DJ’s scratching and mixing VINYL RECORDS and felt the irresistible call to be that person behind the decks making strangers dance, and thus began his love affair with DJing and creating a frenzy on the dance floor. Like most DJs F5 started with the the TAPE mix, opening the door the house parties, local gigs, weddings and corporate events, but he wanted more, the underground.

   Due to the creativity that was strongly present, F5 wanted to be different like may DJs he looked up to at the time and still does,from varying genres, DJ's from the likes of, Armand van Helden, Frankie Knuckles, Lil Louis, Josh Wink, Serious Danger, Sneaker Pinps, to  DJ Tiesto, Arman Van Buren, Ferry Corsten, Chris Liebing, Mojado ft Mr Sam,  just to name a few 

   With what could only be described as a natural born music empathy, F5 can feel what any crowd needs before they do and in turn delivers perfectly tailored beats that feed the soul and unite all who are listening to fall under his spell,  playing music in front of crowds for over 25 years, now heating up the dance floor with his funky, deep tech with a side order of rumbling bass lines from his enigmatic techno. The magic didn't end there, the call to produce his own sound to share with the world was strong, always a creative cat with his mixes, it was time to produce his own originals. It was only natural that the next step was to get into the studio and let his innate creativity flow.

    The creator in him expresses and emerges in many styles, genres and intensities Because of the many styles of music he was exposed to F5s work flow can vary from trip hop to Trance to Drum&Bass to dark sultry techno and even ambient with the common denominator being good music. 

     With Techno now on the forefront of his musical journey through life he hopes to continue to put as many smiles on as many faces he can on our beautiful planet. he lovingly encourages you to come for the ride, and LIVE LOVE and DANCE like there is no tomorrow.
