Donut stop believing
A critical part of making a transformation successful is your team. The transformation team is an essential element to making the change happen, and one of the ways to get a cohesive team, is building a subculture. You're leading a group of disruptors, and sometimes that disruption is going to chafe against prevailing culture. Your people need a safe space to come back to, one where everyone has their back. So build a great subculture to support that. In this episode I tell the infamous donut story that one of my project teams will never let me forget! Its a great lesson in how protecting your team culture, goes a long way to carry them through when change gets tough... because it always gets tough before it gets better.
