"Nous" is the third release by Greek sound artist Substak on DWI. Ten deep and spaced out drone soundscapes, both calm and disturbing.

Nous is a term of ancient Greek philosophy and refers to the human ability to grasp something mentally, and the instance in man responsible for cognition and thought.

In metaphysical and cosmological doctrines that assume a divine control of the world, Nous is also used to refer to a principle that is active in the cosmos, the divine world reason.
