Jackie Auguste is the lead singer of Canadian rock band, Across the Board. She is a woman with a strong voice and even stronger character. She was diagnosed last year with breast cancer but was determined not to let the Big C consume her. Since that time, she has written a bunch of songs, released a new album with her band, all while undergoing a mastectomy and chemotherapy. Jackie Auguste is the definition of a bad ass.
