An altar is where you go to work your magick as a witch. For me it is just a place to go and venerate my ancestors and keep track of my success. There are plenty of things that go on your altar like pictures and things that your ancestors liked. For a naturalist like me I'll just cook their favorite food or drink their favorite coffee. It's almost like living life through their eyes.
