Corn and soybean markets are taking a weather premium due to concerns about South American crop conditions. Wheat faced pressure despite slightly wetter forecasts for the U.S. Corn sales overseas were 32 million metric tons, down 6% week-over-week but up 3% year-over-year. Soybean sales rose 47% to 364,600 metric tons. Wheat sales increased 29% week-over-week. Dry conditions in western Minnesota and parts of Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota pose fire risks. Cash cattle trade is at $246, and live cattle futures are up. Mexico reported 1,469 active cases of foot-and-mouth disease.
