Planting delays in Brazil are causing concerns, pushing more acres outside the optimum yield window and extending opportunities for U.S. corn exports. The USDA Ag Outlook Forum highlighted expectations for fewer corn and more soybean acres in the U.S. this spring. Inspections of corn and wheat for overseas delivery fell, with corn at 1.49 million metric tons and wheat at 375,402 tons. Cash cattle prices rose, and live cattle prices are below cash, with mixed box beef prices. Blizzards and extremely dry weather were noted in various regions, affecting travel and elevating fire risks.
