If you want to build, launch, and market profitable software as a service (SAAS)? Then listen to

Omer Khan, founder of ConversionAid. Omer interviews software entrepreneurs, asking step by step how they work, and then teaches insights and tactics to his audience. He also builds his own SAAS product, and shares that journey.

I’ve listened to a number of his interviews two or three times, because they are packed with value.

Omer was born in Pakistan, and raised all over Britain, as his father pursued an ascending career in banking. Omer came to the U.S. to Microsoft where for 14 years he worked as a product manager, (originally starting his career as a developer).  Because he learned and experienced much at Microsoft, it was not easy to make the leap.

Here, Omer teaches SAAS developers’ best practices from his more than 60 interviews, and how he has learned to monetize his podcast in an original way.

Three of his key takeaways from meeting so many entrepreneurs are:

Look to solve a problem

Be passionate about what you do

Engage people

Omer shares how he came to learn humility from his father and what it took for him to fully commit to entrepreneurship. He talks about that British self-deprecating sense of humor, which has helped him prosper in so many relationships at work, in his business, and the broader culture.
