Recuerdo que antes de que empezara la cuarentena ese fatídico mes de Marzo del 2020, muchas cosas grandiosas estaban pasando en mi vida, cosas que yo sentía que me llenaban y que me daban la esperanza de poder levantarme del oscuro y profundo hueco emocional en el que vivía en esa época; cosas que me fueron arrebatadas cuando se dio la noticia de que no podíamos salir de nuestros hogares porque existía un virus letal con alto índice de contagio.
Durante varios meses caí en una desesperación que me consumía poco a poco al no poder hacer todas las cosas que quería hacer porque requerían que dejara físicamente el lugar donde vivía, algo que resultaba imposible para mí en aquellas condiciones.
Pero ante tanta oscuridad, había una pequeña luz que me salvó de caer aún más bajo en mi hueco emocional, y esa luz era la música. No solo la música que escuchaba, sino también la música que creaba/interpretaba y que me daba el alivio que necesitaba en aquella época tan difusa de mi vida.
Es así como nace este video, que aunque la canción en sí no se relaciona con mi estado emocional de la época, es una canción que disfruto mucho tocar y que pertenece a una de mis bandas favoritas de todos los tiempos. ¡Espero lo disfruten!
I remember that before the quarantine started on that fateful month of March 2020, many wonderful things were happening in my life, things that I felt that were fulfilling me and giving me the hope to get out of the deep dark emotional hole I was living in that time; things that were taken from me when it came the news that we couldn’t get out of our homes because there was a lethal virus that was extremely contagious.
For several months, I was in a desperate state that was consuming me little by little as I couldn’t do all the things that I wanted to do because I needed to physically leave the place where I was living, something that wasn’t possible for me in those conditions.
But in the face of so much darkness, there was a little light that saved me from falling even deeper in my emotional hole, and that light was music. It wasn’t only the music that I listened to, but the music that I created/interpreted as well, and that gave me the relief I needed in such a diffuse time of my life.
That is how this video was born, that even though the song itself is not related with my emotional state of that time, is a song that I love to play and it belongs to one of my favourite bands of all times. Hope you enjoy it!
