While we are on a mid-season break, we will be releasing interviews with some guests who are visiting to teach our summer college interns on assorted topics in the Christian Life. Today, Wes Smith is joining me.

Wes is the College Pastor at The Summit Church in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. He joined our college summer discipleship project to teach on the topic of suffering and I interviewed him afterwards for the podcast. Suffering is inevitable in our lives and today you will hear from Pastor Wes how we can respond to suffering with a curious mixture of mourning and hope in light of the gospel.
