a) because the eyes of the Lord are in the righteous (3:19-16)

b) because Christ suffered for sins (3:17-4:21)

c) because the end of all things is near (4:3-11)

d) because you participated in the sufferings of Christ (4:12-19)

3.0 Continue to do good... as aliens and strangers in the world
