Hi! Welcome back to the Scrubbed In & Spirit Led podcast! We are a chapter of Nurses Christian Fellowship based in Rapid City, SD. Our mission is to encourage, equip, and empower nursing and pre-nursing students to be God’s light in the nursing field.

In this week’s episode, your co-hosts, Kirsten and Mackenna, talk about what it means to suffer and how beautiful suffering can be…. if we let it. Here on earth is the only place where we will have to go through tragedies and suffering. So, if we are on this earth for such a scarce amount of time, we might as well use every last second of it to grow closer to Christ and testify of His goodness and strength.

Tune in to this episode to hear how we can approach the idea of suffering with a changed mindset and learn some action steps to take when in a difficult season. Many times, God will give us more than we can handle to go through the pruning, crushing, and fire to grow closer into the likeness of Him. It is our job to be prepared and armor up to stand against the enemy who only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. It is through these trials where we can truly know and see God’s character on such an intimate and unique level. So, let’s learn how to partner with Him in the hard!
