  • Fallfest Part 2

In Part 2 of our Fallfest series, we're taking you along for real conversations with Kristina, Ashley, and Asia! We asked questions about hope, eternity, and what they would change about themselves if God could change one thing. Their answers opened the door to some honest and meaningful discussions about traumatic childhoods, drug addiction, and what it means to find lasting hope.

We also talked about what the Bible teaches about salvation and why we cannot earn our way to heaven through good works. Most importantly, we had the opportunity to share the gospel and point these conversations back to Jesus Christ.

Our prayer is that these conversations encourage you to think more deeply about what you believe, where your hope is found, and what the Bible actually says about salvation. We believe everyone has a story, but more importantly, everyone needs to hear the good news of Jesus.

  • Kim and Paige: Fallfest Part 1

In this episode of Sufficient Grace, we're getting ready to take the podcast to Fallfest! We share why we wanted to do this, the heart behind the questions we're planning to ask, and how simple conversations can open the door to something deeper.

From questions about heaven and eternity to what gives us hope, we're asking each other the very questions we'll be asking people in our community. Our hope is to listen to people's stories and look for opportunities to point them to Jesus.

We believe everyone has a story, and we want to hear it! If you're coming to Fallfest, we hope you'll stop by and say hello. And be sure to tune in for Part 2, where we'll share the conversations we have with people in our community!

  • Todd & Dawn: Reliance

In this episode of Sufficient Grace, we sit down with Todd and Dawn for a deeply honest conversation about suffering, loss, and the faithfulness of God. After Todd was diagnosed with serious lung disease and eventually received a double lung transplant, their family walked through seasons of waiting, uncertainty, recovery, and complete dependence on God.

They also open up about the heartbreaking loss of their son and the ways grief and suffering have shaped their understanding of who God is. Together, we talk about what God teaches us in the waiting, what suffering can expose in our own hearts, and how to respond when we wonder why a loving God would allow us to hurt.

Through it all, Todd and Dawn share how the Body of Christ surrounded them, how Scripture carried them, and how their relationship with Jesus has been changed through everything they have walked through. This is a conversation about suffering, but ultimately it is about knowing God more deeply in the middle of it.

  • Courtney Moore: Sovereignty

In this episode of Sufficient Grace, Courtney shares a story marked by miracles, uncertainty, waiting, and loss, and the lessons God has taught her about His sovereignty through it all. From surviving circumstances that could have ended her life before it began to experiencing God's protection during a tornado, Courtney has seen God's hand in remarkable ways. But her story also includes seasons when God didn't answer her prayers the way she hoped.

Together, we talk about infertility, grief, God's goodness, and what it means to trust Him when we don't get an explanation. Courtney shares how these experiences have taught her that our hope cannot ultimately rest in what God does for us, but in who God is and what we have in Christ.
