Could sugar and sunlight be the keys to vibrant health — not the cancer-causing killers we've been led to believe?
Today’s guest is Taylor DeBoer, a holistic nutritionist who specializes in gut health and chronic illness. After nearly having her life destroyed by Lyme disease and a multitude of other autoimmune conditions, Taylor has made it her mission to share what she discovered in her own search for answers and teach others how they can nourish their bodies to feel their best.
In this episode, Taylor and I talk sugar, sunlight, and the formula for unlocking our inner radiance. Taylor opens up about her personal struggles and how she discovered true healing through a fruit-based, mostly raw diet. We discuss the philosophical and evolutionary arguments in favor of such a lifestyle and the benefits we can expect when we return to nature’s original blueprint. We highlight the importance of other forms of nourishment such as movement and sunlight, diving deep into common misconceptions and exploring how the very things we’ve been told cause illness may actually hold the key to our greatest healing potential. Lastly, we turn our attention to the social challenges of being a health-conscious individual in today’s world, emphasizing the freedom that’s available to us when we have the courage to step out authentically and live a life that's true to our ourselves.
