After a very long hiatus, the Sugarhouse Podcast is back and ready to serve another round of unhinged conversations!
In this episode, Rio and Neil explore the concept of "accepting the cringe." This has been a topic that they've been tackling in their personal lives, and it's about time they talk about it.
Unfortunately, this isn't some thought-provoking tutorial on how not to be cringe -- just two homies trying to be at peace with the embarrassing, awkward, or uncomfortable parts of themselves. Hope you enjoy and thank you for still listening!
Rio and Neil are back at it again with brand new haircuts and the same old Tanduay!
Neil starts the show by revealing that he's a manic pixie dream girl. Meanwhile, Rio asks what's stopping them from being e-boys/e-girls? Then, they get serious for a moment to discuss the outcome of the elections and analyze if toxic Kakampinks played a crucial part in BBM's victory (aside from his troll army).
Several shots later, they ask themselves: Do you still believe in "miracles"? How do you pick yourself up when life keeps punching you right in the gut? What does it really feel like to be independent? Also, ga taga-tuga ang duha nga walay anak ug Parenting Masterclass.
With extra special bonus content: - uwu noises & surprise song and dance numbers (plural!)
BTW - Confessions with Rio and Neil: https://bit.ly/3GTv4vq
In this episode, Rio and Neil celebrate Cinco de Mayo.... also the Sugarhouse Podcast 1 year anniversary! Gather 'round mga Marites because they'll be talking about burning bridges, B.I. stories, Neil's Shitty Situation Part 2: Terminal Boogaloo, and chaotic memories of making your own movie. Join them as they start another year of drinking beer, talking shit, and spilling tea.

For their 30th episode, Rio and Neil give answers to questions nobody asked for like: Is it bad to still feel like you're 17? Naa bay dwende sa balay? Am I betraying God if I go to a 'cool' church? What advice would I give my high-school self? (hint: investing in crypto) And are you willing to sell your kidney for concert tickets?
Find out the answers and more in this special 2-hour episode!

They were friends... until they weren't.
In this episode, Rio and Neil discuss their bike ride from Carcar to hell. It's a wild story of how a pleasant trip to the south quickly turned into the ultimate test of willpower and friendship. You can't write this shit, so hope you guys enjoy it.

Later, they discuss Gaisano's outdated aesthetic, Neil's professional fingerboarding journey, pride and our defense mechanisms, and the sacredness of promises a.k.a the Rio vs Neil walk out story (drama!). Gi-ataki pud ang Sugarhouse ug wak-wak, so stay tuned...

In this episode, Rio and Neil skip all the podcaster bullshit to give you a glimpse into their raw conversations.
They discuss the purpose of life, emo and Friendster days, refusing to wake up for school/work, not letting that hurt child make your grown-up decisions, why we should all switch to remote work, and Christmas stories. The show has been taking on a docu vibe lately, hope you still like it.
