Suicide - Choosing Death Over Life!
The number of student suicides in India is rising at an alarming rate, in 2022, student suicides increased by 4.5%, with around 35 deaths reported each day. The causes that lead youngsters to take this terrible step vary from peer pressure to identity issues, ragging to discrimination, societal stress to mental health, expectations to relationship issues.
It is a burden like no other when a loved one chooses to end their life. This becomes far worse when the loved one is a child.
We need to talk about this, because communication is the key.
