The Women's Vocal Orchestra of Sumatra (1943–1944) was a choral group founded in a Japanese prisoner of war camp in Sumatra during World War II. It came into being because of the collaborative efforts of <a title="Margaret Dryburgh" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margaret_Dryburgh">Margaret Dryburgh,</a> <a title="Norah Chambers" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norah_Chambers">Norah Chambers</a> and their fellow inmates.
