What an unpleasant era for black people on those times. This book was a great read- well summarized accounts of Ida Mae's life and other strong people, who regardless of the difficulties they have gone through had survived because of their determination to experienced equal rights.A well thought content.
I truly recommend this book
A perfectly written book that recalled the experiences of many people throughout an era of injustice. I truly recommend this book, it was eye opening and hard to put down. It makes you appreciate the power of activism and it helps paint a clear picture of how much black people have suffered in this country.
Great pre read of a best seller
