Whitney and Billy, two hosts of a local talk show, are thrown off their usual schedule. Despite their best efforts to keep the program rolling, they experience a strange set of call-ins from distressed citizens of Cottle County and an interruption from the SFC. The caller's distress and the public service announcement leave an elephant in the room that can’t be ignored, and the two are forced to acknowledge a strange disease spiraling out of control on the West Coast of the United States.
