In times of great trial, we can take comfort in God’s character and the fact that He will execute justice. This week, our Summer in the Psalms continues as Pastor Connor takes us through Psalm 5. He talks about how, even when the wicked seem to be winning, God’s nature and His promises to His people remain unchanged. Ultimately, we can trust God to deliver us, to judge the unrighteous, and to provide refuge and joy to all who love Him.

In this week’s podcast, we dive into what it means to pray for your enemies and rejoice in the punishment of the wicked; and how we can find comfort in that. We also discuss what it means at the end of Psalm 5 when David is talking about the favor of God and how favor takes on a different context in the New Testament.
