Psalm 2 confronts us with a timeless question: Why do the nations rage against God? This psalm reveals a stunning truth: our struggles for control and independence from God are ultimately vain. True freedom comes not from casting off God's yoke, but from submitting to Christ, whose yoke is easy and burden is light. The nations may rage, evil may seem to triumph momentarily, but God remains sovereign, seated on His throne. We are invited to make a choice: will we join the futile rebellion, or will we kiss the Son in submission and find refuge in Him?
