Instead, Hurts is a song of encouragement, hope and an anti-suicide anthem simply aimed at teenagers. You know what? It actually works! Many people have contacted the band to tell them how the song changed their lives. The song talks about connection, and our need to realize that everyone goes through the tough stuff - so we shouldn't give up! That's pretty good news, but not quite the real Good News.
