The message of salvation is urgent. In life, we will have many opportunities to hear God's Word, to see our sin and to repent. But the seasons of life quickly pass. Jeremiah pleaded with the people of Judah to call on their God, the only source of help, before it would be too late. They would soon be taken captive, but sadly they ignored the repeated warnings.
