A hero who wants to be that! Peter wanted to be. He assured Jesus never to leave him and if necessary to go to death with him. The end of history is known. And honestly, we are just like Peter. We want to be heroes, but fail. Nobody wants to be the drowning one, but we are more often than loving us. As Christians, Jesus is our ultimate hero, he has released us from the rule of sin, everything worn on the cross for us, he sits the right of God and bears the name of all names.
